Mediation

Richard Seligman's services also include mediation.  Mediation is an effective way to resolve disputes and avoid delays of litigation in court. A mediator acts as a nuetral third-party who facilitates the resolution of disputes between two opposing parties. The mediator does not resolve the dispute as would a judge or arbitrator, rather he/she helps the parties reach a voluntary resolution of the dispute on their own terms.  Mr. Seligman will serve as a mediator when both parties and their respective attorneys agree to hire him as a "neutral". He can be hired privately as a mediator. For over 30 years he has successfully participated in mediation as a litigator.  Additionally, he has received over 40 hours of specialized training as a mediator/facilitator.
